84th Oscar Lead Actor Additions 4/7/11

EDITORS NOTE: These predictions were made in April 2011 and reflect what my thinking was at that time.  I have updated my predictions since then, but leave these on the blog for a historical record. A few additions to the 84th Oscar Best Actor race:

Tahir Rahim in Black Gold
Antonio Banderas in Black Gold
Giovanni Ribisi in Waco
John Cusack in The Raven
Marlon Wayans in Richard Pryor: Is It Something I Said?
Ewan McGregor in Salmon Fishing In The Yemen


Also a few changes not related to new additions:

Gary Oldman has moved up in the predictions for Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy (From 13 to 5).

George Clooney has moved up in the predictions for The Descendants (from 15 to 7).

Joseph Gordon-Levitt has moved down in the predictions for 50/50 (from 3 to 11).

Dominic Cooper has moved up in the predictions for The Devil’s Double (from 38 to 36).
