Pictured: Carey Villegas is a Visual Effects artist who has worked on films a varied as Titanic, Cast Away, I Am Legend, Fight Club, Bad Boys 2 and Alice In Wonderland, for which he was nominated for an Academy Award. Still, it would be a mistake to think that his screen credits completely sum up his contribution to the industry. Like many technological innovators, the tools that he developed get shared throughout the filmmaking community, and the software that he designed has been used in the Harry Potter, Lord Of The Rings and Matrix franchises.
