  1. So does Amy Adams or any other member get to vote in their own category?

    1. In most categories they do indeed get to vote for themselves - both in the nomination stage and the winners stage.

There are a few of the technical categories that have "bake-offs" with slightly different rules in the nomination stage. I know that in best song, for example, members who have a song in contention can't vote in the nomination stage, but can vote for themselves for the win.

But for actors, it's fair game!

    1. Thanks Sam! I did worry a little that by taking on such a big project the number of posts that I could do would per week would decrease. That has happened a bit, but I think it is worth it, and hopefully will only be temporary once I have the whole alphabet up.

  5. Barkhad Abdi now has a few more credits you can put next to his name. Since Captain Phillips, he has appeared in The Brothers Grimsby and Eye In The Sky, and he was just cast in the Blade Runner sequel.

    1. Cool! I've added it to her list. I don't think I've seen it, so I'll try to check it out this December!

    2. Other people in the cast include Sam Elliott, Cloris Leachman and Abe Vigoda (you can add it to their pages too). Rebecca Harrell, who plays the main character, Jessica, is now an environmental documentary filmmaker. Playing Jessica's best friend is a pre-Jurassic Park Ariana Richards, and one of the bullies in this movie is Johnny Galecki, who in that same year played Rusty Griswold in National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation.

    3. Cool! I'll add these to the credits on my next big update (either this weekend or Monday August 1), and also check to make sure that all these names show up somewhere on the site (either as member,s non-members or the wish list). Thanks again!
