A Special Message To Academy Members (and their friends, family and agents)

A Special Message To Academy Members (and their friends, family and agents):

Being a member of the Academy is a special honor, and we think you should be proud of it. For that reason, we want to make it as easy as possible for you to make your membership known.

You can reach out to us any time by email at nevertooearlymoviepredictions@gmail.com, or on twitter at @NeverTooEarlyMP, or even by using the comment section below.

Friends, family members and agents of current or former members can use the same contact information.

We’re happy to work with you to make sure that you are included and that your work is represented to your satisfaction. That includes adding film credits or job titles that you are particularly proud of, and adding citations or links to the webpages of your choosing.

Some information that you might want to include in your message (include as many or as few of these as you feel comfortable with):

  • Your Name.
  • Which Branch you are in.
  • A few of the film credits you are most proud of. (This is particularly helpful if you have a common name like John Jones).
  • Job Title or studios you have worked for. (This is particularly helpful for executives, public relations, at large and associate members).

As industry insiders, you probably also have access to information about your fellow academy members that you don’t even realize you have. And we would love to be the beneficiary of as much of that knowledge as you feel comfortable sharing.

We are happy to work with you to make sure that you are credited as the source. Or we can work with you to make sure that you remain an anonymous contact. Whichever you prefer.

Some ideas to get you started include:

  • Who sponsored you for membership? (If you know or remember).
  • Who have you sponsored for membership over the years? (Successfully or unsuccessfully).
  • People that you regularly see at academy events, screenings, fundraisers, committees, etc.
  • People that you’ve met at branch meetings, bake-offs, etc.
  • Ballots from branch governor elections (past or present).
  • Executive committee notes and branch membership rosters (past or present).
  • Awards programs, screening schedules or other memorabilia which sometimes list members and committees.
  • Official membership rosters from the academy (they are rumored to exist for some years).
  • Unofficial rosters that studios, publicists, and consultants use during award campaigns.
  • Friends, family, colleagues or co-workers who you know to be members (or know are not members).

Note that we do not publish addresses, phone numbers or email addresses on our site. Our goal is to celebrate your accomplishments and educate the public, not invade your privacy or replace the work of professional awards consultants.
