The Academy Members Project: Non-Members D

Pictured:  Comedic genius Rodney Dangerfield never got to cast an Oscar ballot. In 1995, his application for membership was not accepted for that year. However, when the Academy did invited him to join at a later date, he refused, saying that "They don't even apologize or nothing... They give no respect at all--pardon the pun--to comedy." At the time of his death in 2004, he was still not a member.
