88th Oscar Adapted Screenplay First Entries (2015-2016 Awards Season) (7/24/11)

Here is my first attempt at predicting the 88th Oscar Adapted Screenplay race (for the 2015-2016 awards season). You’ll notice that this list is longer than the original screenplay list I published a minute ago, largely due to the number of sequels listed here. Since IMDB doesn’t yet have enough films to make a complete list of 50, I have ranked all of the films that they have listed. So don’t get your hopes up too high for the films at the bottom of the list!

1. Steven Zaillian for A Thousand Splendid Suns (Predicted Winner)
2. Inamorata
3. David Hare for The Corrections
4. Coram Boy

  2. @Anonymous, I agree! Having Steven Zaillian writing the screenplay for a Khaled Hosseini novel sounds like a perfect match for me!
