You can’t have a “Never Too Early” blog that only has year-in-advance predictions, so here are my TWO-yearS in advance predictions for the 85th Oscar season.
These have also been updated on the tracker pages in the right column.
I wish that I could have included more independent films in this list, as they are sure to make it in the end. Unfortunately, the nature of financing and distribution for independent films means that it is difficult to learn about them this far in advance. As a result, this early list is tilted way too heavily towards blockbusters, sci-fi and action flicks. Still, it looks like 2012 will be a pretty good year!
