Here are today’s rankings for the 88th Costume Design Race (2015-2016 awards season). My last set of predictions only listed one film (Bride Of Frankenstein), so everything else is new.
At least four of the top five (and perhaps all of them) have some aspect of historical consciousness to them, and three of the five also have a gothic or supernatural feel added on. So it is likely that a flashy modern number with music and dancing will join in at some point and knock our socks off. (Which makes me wonder: Do the costume designers pay much attention to socks?)
1. Coram Boy (Predicted Winner)
2. The Many Deaths Of Barnaby James
3. Inamorata
